AAbout

Experience,reconfigured

AI changes the range of things a small team can explore and make. It does not decide what should be made, what good feels like, or where a process needs human judgment.

AX Designers brings together two complementary design practices. We work across digital products, AI-enabled workflows, visual systems and complex production, carrying ideas from the first question into practical, considered work.

A/01AI and experience

AI changes what we can do. Experience changes what we do with it.

AI can help us research, explore alternatives, prototype, write and build more quickly. Experience helps us choose the right question, spot what is missing, and judge whether the result serves the people who will use it.

We bring AI into the work when it adds something useful. We also know when a clear interface, a well-designed process or a dependable script is the better answer. The tool may change; care, context and judgment still matter.

A/02More than a prompt

More than a prompt

A useful result takes more than a clever instruction. It takes a clear goal, an understanding of the people and systems involved, thoughtful design, and the practical work of making the pieces fit together.

We work across the path from idea to implementation: framing the problem, shaping the experience, developing the visual and interaction system, and helping the chosen solution work in its real context. AI can support parts of that path; responsibility for the decisions stays with us.

  1. Frame the problem
  2. Shape the experience
  3. Develop the visual and interaction system
  4. Make it work in its real context

A/03Principles

Principles that outlast tools

  1. Start with people and purpose

Understand who the work is for and what needs to change before choosing a tool.

  2. Make complexity understandable

Give information, interfaces and workflows a structure people can follow.

  3. Use tools with judgment

Choose AI, automation or established methods for a reason, and keep people involved where context and judgment matter.

  4. Make the result useful beyond the first release

Build with consistency and care so the work can be understood, used and developed further.

A/04Capabilities

Multidisciplinary capabilities

Our strengths meet across design, technology and production. The combination lets us look at a challenge from several angles and carry decisions through to execution.

  • Product strategy and digital product design

  • UX and UI architecture for websites, apps and complex digital products

  • Brand systems, visual communication and art direction

  • AI-informed product and workflow design

  • Workflow and production automation, including Adobe scripting

  • E-commerce ecosystems and digital product implementation

A/05Working method

From a clear question to considered work

Every project is different, but our way into the work is consistent.

  1. Understand

We learn what you are trying to change, who is involved, how things work today and what constraints matter.

  2. Find the shape of the problem

We make the important information, flows and decisions visible, then agree what a useful result would look like.

  3. Explore and design

We develop the right direction, using research, design, prototypes and AI-assisted exploration where they help answer the question.

  4. Make it work

We bring the chosen direction into the product, visual system or workflow, paying attention to the details that make it usable in practice.

  5. Learn from use

We look at how the result works in context and use what we learn to guide what comes next.

A/06The people

The people behind the work

AX Designers was co-founded by Jolanta Żochowska and Małgosia. Their backgrounds are different; that is what lets AX bring product thinking and visual craft into the same conversation.

A/07Specialist practices

Specialist practices

Five connected practices describe the kinds of work we bring together. They are ways of working within one small practice, not separate departments.

  • AX Intelligence

    Make AI useful in context.

We explore where AI can support a product or workflow and shape a thoughtful way to use it.

  • AX Code

    Turn ideas into usable experiences.

Turn product ideas and design decisions into clear, usable digital experiences, working within the implementation approach and capabilities present in the project.

  • AX Automation

    Reduce repetitive work.

Reduce repetitive work through considered workflows, automation and AI where appropriate, keeping human judgment in the right places.

  • AX Academy

Make new tools easier to understand.

Make new tools and ways of working easier to understand through practical knowledge-sharing and learning.

  • AX Visibility

    Be clear and findable.

Help people, search engines and AI assistants find and understand the work through GEO and AEO: sound foundations, clear structure and useful content.

Company details, such as the legal name and registration, will be added once confirmed.
